Privacy Policy
What we collect when you build on Something, what we do with it, and the controls you have over it.
Information we collect
- Account information. Email address, billing details and authentication credentials.
- User prompts & AI Output. The plain English instructions you provide to build apps, and the resulting code, UI and voice agent outputs generated by the platform.
- Integration data. When you connect Something to third-party tools (e.g. Slack, Linear, Stripe, Gmail), we securely store the OAuth tokens and metadata needed to execute the workflows you build. You retain control over these connections and can revoke them at any time.
- Usage data. Telemetry, logs, performance data and technical metrics related to your usage of our platform and deployment infrastructure.
How we use your information
We use your data to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the Something platform.
- Generate, deploy and host the applications and voice agents you request.
- Process payments and provide customer support.
- Improve our platform, underlying models and tool-wiring accuracy. You may opt out of having your Customer Data used for model training by contacting privacy@trysomething.sh.
How we share your information
- Third-Party AI Providers. Your prompts and necessary context are transmitted to our AI partners (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cartesia) strictly to generate your requested outputs.
- Infrastructure partners. We share necessary data with hosting and database providers to deploy your applications live on the web.
- Legal & safety. We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of Something, our users or the public.
Security & data retention
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your integrations and deployed applications. We retain your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you the Services.
Your choices
You can revoke any third-party connection at any time from the connections screen in your account, which removes the stored OAuth token for that integration.
